We've taken the RX9 gravel philosophy and turned up the capability dial – the Orange X9 is encroaching on XC trail MTB territory. We've selected the same responsive and comfortable double-butted 6061-T6 alloy tube-set that we use for the RX9 but tuned the geometry for the suspension fork. The frame has internal dropper post compatibility, neat flat mount disc brake fixings and plenty of tyre clearance up to 42mm in a 700c. The X9 is all about the grin factor and the Fox 32 TC Performance Elite 40mm fork lets you hit trails with more confidence than you might be used to on a gravel rig.
The Fox 32 TC Performance Elite for is the ligthest fork Fox as ever made. Front suspension on a gravel bike greatly improves rider experience, increases control, takes the edge off extended gravel rides and dramatically expands the terrain you can cover. Designed from the ground-up specifically for modern gravel bike geometry, the Taper-Cast fork features a sleek drop crown profile and new control knob shapes that improve downtube clearance. A sleek, reverse arch design further improves fitment, decreases frontal area for better aerodynamics and provides stiffness through the arch matrix design.
The Orange X9 is the hardcore mountain bikers gravel bike, or is it the other way around. Either way, it's a lot of fun to ride, you decide.
